Usability testing for ReWalk wearable robotic exsoskeleton

ReWalk is a wearable robotic exoskeleton that provides powered hip and knee motion to enable individuals with spinal cord injury to stand upright, walk, turn, and climb and descend stairs. ReWalk partnered with Cognit to develop a full-scale usability plan and conduct formative tests and HFE validation tests for FDA submission.

After a set of formative tests in Europe and the US that yielded valuable design inputs, and a complex yet successful HFE validation test in the US, ReWalk has become the first exoskeleton to receive FDA clearance for use in stairs and curbs in the United States.
